Welcome to The Therian Club, a place for therianthropes of all types and those interested in them to come and enjoy the company of kindred spirits. Here is an art haven, a place for rest, and a place for those thoughts that are never far from any therian's mind. Feel free to stay, to talk, and to join in our every-growing song.

.What is Therianthropy?.

Therianthropes are those who believe, whether spiritually or mentally, that a part of them is a non-human animal. Frequently, therians also refer to themselves are "weres", although to term lycanthrope is usually avoided, as it has many unwanted connotations.

Many therians consider themselves wolves, although there are many different theriotypes. Some therians may have one or more theriotypes as well.
Therianthropy is related to, although not the same as, Otherkinism.

I would also want to find out how to find out your animal. I have tried people seeing my therian animal and they said its either one of the following. A therian said its either a tiger,lion,bear,liger,jaguar. He said that all the animals he sees they are all leaders, and he thinks I'm a leader. another two people have said Lion and Liger. I dont know what to do.

Hey, this is interesting, how exactly though do you find out what your animal spirit is? I mean, I know I have one, since I spent most of my childhood pretending I was an animal. XD Boy, parents were like "wtf is wrong with dis child?" Anyway. I just wanted to know if there's some way to find out, or provoke it to reveal itself or something. I'm very openminded if you can't tell, so don't be shy. I'd just like to find out if I actually have one and what it is since I don't want to be retarded and just pick a 'cool' animal and go with it.

Great to see someone who is not lashing out and picking a cool animal.

It is often not easy to find your inner animal, and quite often, it is a totem and not a part of ones self. Does your 'animal side' feel like a seperate spirit that lives inside, around and among you? Or do you feel that you are an animal in a human body?
